Event Schedule

 

Here is our tentative Schedule for the day's events.  All times are subject to change due to weather, delays or other unforeseen challenges.   All those attending check in with the volunteers in front of the terminal building and you will be guided from there. Drivers refer to the detailed schedule on the Compete & Show page.


Saturday September 21, 2019 (Rain date September 22, 2019)


09:00 – Autocross racing begins/Spectator gates open


12:00 - Car show officially begins (ends at 15:30)


12:30 – Lunch / Demonstration vehicles


13:30 – 1⁄2 Mile Challenge begins


16:30 – 1⁄2 Mile top 10 Shootout

Admission

 Spectators will receive an entry wristband for $10 at the door in the terminal building.  Children under 12 years old are free.  Pets will NOT be allowed to enter the site (for their safety and the competitors'). 

Food & Drink

Food and non-alcoholic drinks can be brought into the event.   Additionally, food and drinks will be available on site from mobile food vendors.  Water will also be available. 

Alcohol and cannabis are NOT permitted on the site.  Smoking is not permitted on airport grounds.

Portable washroom facilities will be available.

Parking

  Spectator parking will be available on site free of charge.  However, the airport is a large site so be prepared to walk to see the entire event.  Only cars and support equipment involved in the registered events will be permitted to enter the airfield.  

Viewing Events & Safety

Spectator areas will be designated around the event for safety purposes.  Emergency services will also be on site throughout the event.  Check in at the front terminal gate for admission.  From there, our volunteers will ensure you find your way safely to where you'd like to go.

Event Timing

The event will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, September 21st.   The rain date is scheduled for Sunday, September 22.

Other Info

Photography at the site is welcome, however, drones are not permitted at the site due to restrictions at the airfield by Transport Canada.

Chairs and tent canopy structures are welcome.
